What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, supporting documentation, and month-end reporting materials for accurate general ledger accounting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support complete and accurate financial results.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze actual-to-budget results to communicate key variances.
• Improve recurring accounting and reporting processes with AI, automation, and technology.
• Support financial planning and analysis through accurate financial data, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
• Maintain customer sales tax exemption information and manage assigned accounting responsibilities while collaborating with the Corporate Accounting team.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate Accounting program and completion of at least one foundational accounting course.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Availability to work 15–20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and basic financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze financial information, investigate discrepancies, and apply sound judgment to accounting and business questions.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to learn and apply new accounting processes, technologies, and tools as business needs evolve.
• Ability to use technology, including AI-enabled tools, responsibly to improve productivity, analysis, and accounting processes.
