Sr Manager, Indirect Procurement (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Execute procurement strategies for indirect spend, facilities, construction, IT, manufacturing supplies, and spare parts.
• Lead material and commodity qualification, bidding events, contract negotiations, pricing alignment, and commercial term execution.
• Manage strategic and high-risk supplier relationships, monitor delivery, quality, and cost performance, and drive corrective actions.
• Support semiconductor and probe card manufacturing across wafer fab, MEMS processing, assembly, and test, ensuring availability of chemicals, gases, targets, reticles, process supplies, services, and materials.
• Drive cost reduction, supplier performance improvement, working capital optimization, KPI reporting, procurement analytics, and process improvements using ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.
• Lead and develop buyers, procurement specialists, or category managers while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Sourcing on NPI, capacity expansion, and supply readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of related experience; alternatively, 8 years with a Master’s degree, 5 years with a PhD, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, probe card, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience in procurement, supplier management, cost optimization, and global supplier or multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading projects, categories, or small teams; people management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with semiconductor materials, precision machining, and capital equipment sourcing.
• Knowledge of category management, contract negotiations, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, NPI, stakeholder management, supplier risk management, supply planning, and total cost of ownership.
• Ability to use ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools to inform sourcing decisions.

Nice to have

• APICS or ISM certification, including CPSM or CPIM.
