Engineer 2 (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the Seattle, WA area; must work in the hirify.global Seattle office at least 4 days per week.

Salary: $121,500–$188,500 annual.

What you will do

• Develop new features and improve production systems in an agile environment.
• Build and maintain APIs and services moving content and assets between content management, asset management, and campaign delivery platforms.
• Work with AEM, Sanity, and a Dynamic Creative Optimization platform, including building in-house applications that connect them.
• Orchestrate AI agents and contribute to automation and agentic workflows that reduce manual marketing effort.
• Participate in code reviews and verify AI-generated code within the agent-driven delivery process.
• Own features through every delivery stage with a focus on quality and results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience with Go or Java; willingness to learn the other.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional or personal setting, plus genuine interest in how AI changes engineering work.

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience; the work primarily leans backend.
• Familiarity with managing context, memory, and prompting when working with AI tools and agents.
• Experience building cloud-native software.
• Experience integrating third-party platforms or working with content or marketing technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
