What you will do

• Execute feasibility analyses by translating clinical, genetic, and business requirements into SQL or similar queries, scripts, visualizations, and actionable insights.
• Interpret complex clinical cohort definitions, including rare genetic variants and disease subtypes, and implement them in precise data extraction logic with senior team support.
• Extract and summarize patient data from EMR, genetic, laboratory, and secondary research sources, producing attrition funnels, geographic distributions, and provider or institution metrics.
• Support workflow optimization, automated pipelines, documentation, and handoffs for post-sale algorithm development.
• Use SQL and dbt to combine clinical, genetic, and operational data, while supporting data-quality assurance and correction of inconsistencies.
• Maintain and improve Looker or similar dashboards and develop oncology and clinical genomics knowledge for accurate technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, computational, or healthcare-related field such as Bioinformatics, Data Science, Public Health, Biology, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering; a related master’s degree may qualify in place of the experience requirement.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in healthcare analytics, clinical data, or a related field, unless holding a related master’s degree.
• Proficiency in SQL or an equivalent query language and experience with data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Ability to interpret and implement complex clinical or genetic cohort definitions in code.
• Experience working with EMR, clinical, or claims data.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel, plus willingness to work in an agile, fast-paced, expanding team environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with oncology, clinical trial design, or rare disease research.
• Experience with R or Python for data analysis.
• Experience using agentic tooling for rapid prototyping of relevant solutions.
• Experience with genetic or molecular data, including NGS or variant annotation.
