Senior Hardware Product Manager (IoT Wireless)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role

Annualized base pay: $124,600–$231,400 USD

What you will do

• Define SoC product requirements, features, specifications, and system KPIs across CPUs, co-processors, accelerators, power management, peripherals, security, radio subsystems, and packages.
• Map market and system application requirements to product use cases, block diagrams, compute and peripheral requirements, and wireless protocol performance requirements.
• Define customer hardware and evaluation tools, including debug interfaces and user interfaces such as buttons, displays, LEDs, joysticks, and sensors.
• Collaborate with IC design, product test, software, marketing, applications, operations, and sales teams on innovation ideas, roadmaps, and silicon definition.
• Drive product development from concept through definition and present promising product ideas to executive staff.
• Manage the scalable product portfolio and conduct competitive analysis, including die-level teardowns and specification analysis.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent, plus 6+ years of experience in semiconductor product management or the IoT industry.
• Core development experience in IC front-end, architecture, verification, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of architectural considerations for PPA, including power estimation, die-size estimation, and fundamental process-node technology principles.
• Knowledge of wireless modem and RF design principles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or other low-power wireless standards.
• Ability to work at a technical level with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams.
• Experience developing business cases for technology investments with business-unit partners, including sensitivity analysis of relevant variables.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive management.

• Development experience with wireless or wired communication protocols.
• MBA or equivalent business degree.
