Staff Product Manager (Semiconductor Systems)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; based in Solon, Ohio. Travel up to 25% for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings.

Salary: $104,300–$193,700 per year. Eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.

What you will do

• Own portfolio strategy, roadmap prioritization, business cases, lifecycle management, and performance for the Precision DC product portfolio.
• Engage customers, partners, and field teams to identify workflows, unmet needs, market opportunities, competitive threats, and differentiated value propositions.
• Lead through influence across engineering, sales, marketing, applications, and operations to align development, launch, go-to-market, and portfolio outcomes.
• Define product requirements and success criteria, validate opportunities, reduce investment risk, and manage scope, schedule, technical tradeoffs, and business impact.
• Monitor revenue, margin, adoption, forecasting, revenue recognition, portfolio health, pricing, and profitability; lead sustaining, rationalization, and end-of-life decisions.
• Develop customized system configurations and quotes using margin analysis, regional pricing dynamics, local competition, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product marketing, business development, engineering, or a related role, including meaningful experience with technical B2B products.
• Demonstrated success defining product strategy, roadmap priorities, and lifecycle decisions for complex hardware or hardware-software solutions.
• Experience translating customer needs, market signals, and competitive insights into differentiated product requirements and investment recommendations.
• Ability to lead through influence across engineering, sales, marketing, applications, and operations in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong business acumen, including experience with business cases, pricing or positioning, revenue and margin analysis, and portfolio performance management.
• Working knowledge of DC test and measurement instrumentation, semiconductor or electronics test workflows, or adjacent technical domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced technical degree.
• Working knowledge of the semiconductor capital equipment market for wafer fabs.
