Associate, Systems Administration (Network & Security)

Location: Partially remote from ILTELHQ Petach Tikva HQ, Israel; the role also supports a government ministry and enterprise clients in Jerusalem.

What you will do

• Execute operational handovers and maintain stability across government and enterprise IT environments.
• Administer, optimize, and harden Check Point firewalls, Fortinet FortiGate appliances, Cisco switching infrastructure, and enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, user access controls, endpoint protection, XDR solutions, Syslog servers, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Use PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, system configurations, and operational reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, network, and security incidents to maintain high service availability.
• Provide client-facing technical consultation and support to government stakeholders and enterprise clients while refining Network Access Control and security policies.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on administration experience across integrated system, network, and security environments.
• Hands-on experience administering Check Point firewall security policies and Fortinet FortiGate appliances.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, enterprise LAN/WAN technologies, and Cisco CLI.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
• Practical PowerShell scripting skills for automation, system configuration, and efficiency improvements.
• Strong familiarity with endpoint security, XDR solutions, Syslog logging, and central monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and customer-oriented communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Juniper and HPE switches or administering Portnox NAC solutions.
• Experience with Trend Micro Apex One, McAfee Web Gateway, or PRTG Network Monitor.
• Experience supporting government ministries, highly regulated environments, or MSP setups.
• Active Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft certifications.
