Sr. Engineer - Sensor (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own major sensor components and new features from design through delivery.
• Develop the lightweight CrowdStrike endpoint agent for Windows and Mac, with sensor support across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Architect and implement features spanning file systems, memory and processes, networking, and shared cross-platform components.
• Partner with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop cross-team functionality.
• Troubleshoot product issues reported by customers responsively.
• Develop data security capabilities that help detect and investigate insider threats, monitor sensitive-data access and movement, and reduce data-leak risks for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++.
• 8+ years of industry experience building high-performance software products.
• Experience with Windows Internals and Kernel Mode.
• Solid experience with networking.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance issues.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work effectively with senior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
