HPE Networking, Presales Systems Engineer (AI Networking)

Location: Ra'anana, Israel; hybrid with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office and travel to customer sites across Israel.

What you will do

• Partner with account managers, channel partners, and customers to identify needs and align networking solutions with business outcomes.
• Design and position end-to-end solutions across campus, branch, data center, wireless, switching, routing, network access control, security, and cloud-managed networking.
• Deliver customer presentations, technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions, demonstrations, and discovery conversations in Hebrew and English.
• Support proofs of concept, prepare architectures, bills of materials, proposals, and technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Articulate HPE Networking differentiation and identify expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Support customer and partner enablement through training, demonstrations, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, systems engineering, network consulting, or another customer-facing technical role.
• Strong networking infrastructure background and experience translating technical capabilities into business value.
• Experience with customer presentations, demonstrations, technical design discussions, and solution recommendations.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English, with confidence presenting and writing in both languages.
• Availability to work from an HPE office approximately 2 days per week and travel to customer and partner sites within Israel.
• Security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in networking, presales, professional services, or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience with HPE Aruba and/or Juniper technologies.
• Hands-on experience with IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, PIM, MPLS traffic engineering, RSVP-TE, SR-TE, L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN, VPLS, and MVPN.
• Experience with wireless LAN, campus or data center switching, routing, NAC, security, AI-driven operations, or cloud-based network management.
• Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales models.
