Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Lead application security protocols throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Design, deploy, and continuously monitor cloud security architecture across cloud environments.
• Manage security for core IT infrastructure, internal networks, and perimeter defenses.
• Ensure healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements are met across products and systems, including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security reviews, then remediate identified weaknesses.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, IT Security, and/or Application Security.
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with modern programming languages, generative coding utilities, and the security implications of AI code development utilities.
• Experience researching, establishing, and rolling out enterprise-wide security policies and guidelines.
• Experience establishing a strong security posture in regulated healthcare technology.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex security risks into actionable advice for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in compliance, security, and regulatory areas including HIPAA, PHI, AKS, SOC 2, ISO, and GDPR.
• Flexibility to participate in a rotation for critical on-call support.

Nice to have

• Experience exploring, partnering on, and implementing bleeding-edge technology.
• Experience with tools and technologies including Datadog, Sumo Logic, Torq, Flare, GCP, Entitle, Okta, Orca, FlowSec, and Prisma.
