Senior Engineering Manager (ASIC)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; onsite at least 4 days per week.

Salary: $171,200–$256,800 USD per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

hirify.global develops healthcare technologies, including implantable cardiac devices for cardiac pacing, defibrillation, monitoring, and cardiac rhythm management.

What you will do

• Lead a group of IC designers focused on digital IC design, IC integration and verification, timing and power analysis, and design for test.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance for mixed-signal ASIC development supporting cardiac rhythm management products.
• Own assigned projects, including budgets, schedules, performance standards, technical decisions, and operational results.
• Establish functional vision, long-range goals, operating policies, design methodologies, evaluation criteria, and strategic roadmaps.
• Partner with managers, functional representatives, project managers, customer representatives, and business leaders on technical meetings, project execution, staffing, and performance reviews.
• Select, mentor, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering personnel while building the organization’s technical and managerial pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of electrical engineering and design experience, or at least 5 years with an advanced degree.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment is required; sponsorship is not offered for this Senior-level role.
• For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Medical device industry experience.
• 12–17 years of electrical engineering and design experience.
• 10–15 years of technical supervision experience.
