What you will do

• Lead product development from ideation through concept design freeze.
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team to improve technical rigor and independent decision-making.
• Partner with Product Management to align market needs with technical feasibility and readiness.
• Drive disciplined execution by implementing standard tools, methods, and design review processes.
• Ensure smooth transitions to the Product Realization team through clear technical documentation and risk management.
• Identify portfolio gaps and contribute to technology roadmaps through development, sourcing, or partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in product development.
• Multidisciplinary experience with electromechanical products is required.
• Demonstrated progression from individual contributor to technical or people leadership.
• Strong foundation in MCAD and ECAD systems; familiarity with SolidWorks and Altium is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex technical tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience with technology road mapping or platform-level thinking.
• Background in process implementation or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with external technology partnerships or academic collaborations.
