hirify.global builds a data-sharing platform that enables consumers to access savings tools, earned wages, and rewards while helping businesses use consumer data for research, insights, and targeted advertising.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the monthly financial close, financial reporting, accounting operations, tax compliance, audits, and controls.
• Lead and develop the three-person accounting team, establish ownership and standards, and serve as the primary escalation point for accounting decisions and technical solutions.
• Design NetSuite workflows and build integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, Ramp, and other systems.
• Automate billing, reconciliations, invoice matching, reporting, and other accounting workflows using modern AI and automation tools.
• Reduce close time, improve accuracy, strengthen the control environment, and eliminate routine senior finance involvement in accounting operations.
• Partner with Finance and other leaders on complex technical accounting questions, transactions, process improvements, and operational issues.

Requirements

• Significant accounting leadership experience, ideally as a Controller or in a comparable senior accounting role.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise.
• Experience leading audits and working directly with external auditors.
• Comfort with modern accounting systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, or comparable ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes and systems, not only operate them.
• Comfort working with data, APIs, code, and automation.
• Willingness to use AI coding tools such as Claude and ChatGPT in day-to-day work.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, complex environment.
• Sound judgment about when to build internally, use automation, engage consultants, or involve engineering.

Nice to have

• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
