Senior Quality Engineer (Optical Transceivers)

Location: Dongguan, Changan Town, China; onsite

What you will do

• Manage design quality activities for optical transceivers, including design reviews, buyoff, and FMEA reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on potential failures and sample failures.
• Participate in design reviews and failure analysis meetings across projects.
• Drive execution of agreed actions and maintain lessons learned from design and mass-production phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, R&D, or Product Engineering; experience in optical, assembly, mechanical, or electrical fields is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of quality analysis methodologies, including FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software such as Excel, JMP, or Minitab.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven conclusions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English and Mandarin.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above.
• Experience in PCBA circuit design or optical design.
• Cantonese communication skills.
