What you will do

• Lead ME system innovation, design, and development for China-specific evolutionary products.
• Drive technology scouting, create roadmaps, and align with stakeholders to identify new ME opportunities.
• Lead product development through feasibility studies, concept design, architecture, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with PM, Electrical, Optical, and Acoustic teams for seamless hardware integration.
• Manage communication with suppliers to refine ME processes from prototyping to mass production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design for high-volume consumer electronics (ME and CMF).
• 2+ years of experience as a technical leader managing NPI projects.
• Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD with strong geometrical tolerance knowledge.
• Expertise in plastic and metal parts development, including strength, joining, reliability, and FEA.
• Demonstrated experience with various manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, and metal stamping.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering.

Nice to have

• Multi-functional design skills including electro-mechanical integration and PCB mechanical design.
• Experience coaching junior engineers and managing technical crises.
