Sr. Principal, Tech PM (ServiceNow IRM)

Location: Chicago, IL; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $137,400–$240,400 USD base pay, with a potential discretionary bonus that may include equity.

What you will do

• Lead delivery approaches, execution, prioritization, resourcing, governance, and risk management across enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory initiatives.
• Oversee the RCE portfolio and ServiceNow IRM delivery organization, aligning outcomes with regulatory commitments, enterprise risk objectives, and strategic business goals.
• Manage stakeholder engagement across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Business functions, including communication, adoption readiness, conflicts, escalations, and changing priorities.
• Direct program-level governance, dependency, issue, change control, SDLC, release management, and organizational change activities.
• Manage capital and expense budgets, forecasts, investment prioritization, budget variances, delivery spend, and funding commitments across portfolios.
• Lead staffing, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and career growth for employees, contractors, consultants, and vendor resources.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of direct program and project management experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale Regulatory, Risk, Compliance, Governance, or financial services transformation programs, including regulatory commitments, risk management practices, and control environments.
• Experience leading strategic enterprise programs involving ServiceNow IRM, GRC, Risk Management, RCSA, Controls, Regulatory Change Management, Compliance Monitoring, Enterprise Reporting, or similar business transformation capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, enterprise integrations, data platforms, and SaaS-based solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise workflow and governance platforms, delivery governance, release management, system integrations, data quality management, and operational readiness.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, teams, and large-scale programs involving multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Superior communication, initiative, organizational, analytical, delivery, and fact-based decision-making skills.
• Financial management experience supporting large portfolios and program budgets between $5M and $20M involving employees, contractors, consulting partners, and managed services resources.
• Knowledge of global financial institutions, risk management frameworks, compliance obligations, governance processes, regulatory expectations, portfolio planning, demand management, resource planning, capacity management, and dependency management.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid software delivery lifecycle methodologies; a college or university degree is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow IRM, GRC platforms, regulatory transformation programs, or enterprise risk technology solutions.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree.
• Current or prior PMP certification.
