Agile Project Manager (AI-PDLC)

Location: US - Remote; candidates within 30 miles of an office must work hybrid three days in the office and two days from home, while candidates farther than 30 miles may be considered for remote employment.

Salary: $114,000–$128,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery flow for initiatives across a five-zone AI-augmented product development pipeline, from validated discovery through production release.
• Coordinate zone-to-zone handoffs, Spec Agreement gates, Definition of Ready checks, sign-offs, and Gate Decision Logs.
• Orchestrate dependencies across 3–5-person delivery pods and facilitate cross-pod syncs focused on blockers, spec quality, and handoff readiness.
• Maintain RAID and decision logs, surface AI pipeline failure modes, and partner with Scrum Masters to escalate pod-level blockers.
• Communicate initiative status, risks, decisions, and AI output concerns to Product Management, Engineering, Release Management, and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain Jira, Aha!, and Confluence data; build dashboards for cycle time, throughput, spec rejection rate, PR review cycles, and human gate hours.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Agile delivery, project management, or program coordination in a SaaS or software environment.
• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional Product, Engineering, QA, and Design teams.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, with the ability to adapt ceremonies to AI-augmented team models.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development and the relationship between input specification quality and AI output quality.
• Working knowledge of human-in-the-loop gate concepts and the distinction between AI-generated artifacts and human-owned decisions.
• Proficiency with Jira, Scriptrunner, Confluence, and Aha! for initiative tracking, gate logging, and reporting.
• Experience with AI productivity tools such as Atlassian Intelligence, Glean, Claude, or equivalent.
• Comfort with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for distributed team collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication, high judgment, organizational discipline, proactive collaboration, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Openness to rapid iteration as the AI-PDLC framework matures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Agile delivery or program coordination.

Nice to have

• Experience in organizations undergoing Agile or technology transformation.
• AI-augmented delivery experience.
• SAFe or AI fluency credentials, including SAFe SA, SSM, SASM, SPC, AWS AI Practitioner, or Google AI Essentials. These are weighted above CSM, PSM I–II, CAPM, or PMP certifications.
