Head of Academic Unit – K12

Location: On-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; regional responsibility across the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain; approximately 40% regional travel with overnight travel as required.

What you will do

• Drive solution selling with Sales and Marketing leadership by building relationships with district and school-level influencers and connecting their priorities to hirify.global products, pedagogy, and technology.
• Lead and support the Academic Unit across the MEA region, mentoring academic colleagues and supporting consistent results across multiple markets.
• Build distributor partnerships through sales enablement, training, and strategic alignment across key accounts.
• Deliver presentations and product training for school leaders, teachers, decision-makers, field teams, and partners.
• Inform marketing materials, presentation templates, product development roadmaps, and regional go-to-market planning with field intelligence.
• Monitor K–12 education, digital learning, and competitor trends to support regional positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, a STEM discipline, or a related field.
• At least five years of teaching experience at the elementary or K–12 level.
• Leadership experience or strong demonstrable leadership potential from an education-industry role, senior school leadership position, or regional/team management background.
• Ability to engage credibly with school leaders, teachers, and education stakeholders, build trust, and influence decisions at multiple levels.
• Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and online or web-based tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally approximately 40%, including overnight travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Experience in educational publishing, EdTech, digital learning, or the broader education industry.
• STEM background in Science, Mathematics, ICT, Computing, or a related discipline.
• Experience in curriculum development and selection.
• Leadership or managerial experience in a regional or multi-market context.
• Familiarity with hirify.global resources and the Gulf K–12 education landscape.
• Understanding of digital education trends, emerging classroom technologies, and the competitive landscape.
