Digital Consulting Senior Manager - Azure Architect (Azure/Fabric)

Base salary: $165,000–$190,000 USD per year; total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $198,000–$228,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and develop cloud analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and modern data and analytics platform architecture.
• Own end-to-end architecture across data ingestion, transformation, data science, semantic modeling, reporting, and application experience.
• Apply security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance standards across reports, pipelines, and agents.
• Document and communicate platform architecture to internal teams, technical stakeholders, executive sponsors, and clients.
• Establish reusable domain models, environment patterns, metric libraries, automated reviews, and governance guardrails.
• Mentor engineers, lead delivery workstreams and teams, and contribute to business development and repeatable client offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of cloud data architecture experience with deep, current expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Active Directory, DevOps, and Monitor.
• Strong knowledge of Fabric workloads including Power BI, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Data Activator, Deployment Pipelines, Workspaces, and Apps.
• Working fluency with platform governance, security, infrastructure-as-code, and orchestration disciplines.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture patterns including microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture applied to data platforms.
• Experience leading cloud migration, integration, and deployment engagements end to end across multiple clients or programs.
• Microsoft Azure or Fabric certification, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Fabric Analytics Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring technical teams and leading delivery workstreams, plus business development and client relationship growth.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
