Data & AI Presales Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand their goals, challenges, and data landscapes, shaping Data & AI strategies that deliver business value.
• Design scalable, secure, and governed modern data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure.
• Lead the discovery and development of AI opportunities involving generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and intelligent applications.
• Translate business requirements into solution designs, roadmaps, investment cases, proposals, estimates, and Statements of Work.
• Create demonstrations, prototypes, and customer stories, and lead workshops and thought leadership activities.
• Collaborate with sales, consulting, engineering, delivery, and Microsoft teams from discovery through proposal and handover.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering Data & AI solutions across data architecture, engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or consulting environments.
• Proven ability to work directly with customers and translate business challenges into solutions, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Copilot and Azure AI technologies.
• Ability to identify high-value AI use cases and demonstrate them through prototypes, demonstrations, and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including data integration, governance, security, data quality, and responsible AI practices.
• Commercial awareness and confidence shaping proposals, estimates, and customer engagements while balancing value, feasibility, and risk.
• Collaborative, customer-focused communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, inspire stakeholders, and build credibility with technical and business audiences.
