Accounting Analyst

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; 100% on-site.

Salary: $92,200–$136,500 annually.

What you will do

• Perform or audit standard journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and AP/AR reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities and the application of accounting fundamentals.
• Prepare financial data analyses for management review.
• Prepare or support budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other financial analyses, including management recommendations.
• Assist with documenting internal controls and researching accounting principles and current tax laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the global Finance organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts based on educational experience.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Internship experience.
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning or tax systems.
• Tax, audit, project, or cost accounting experience.
