Product Manager, NGS

Location: Boulder, Colorado preferred or remote; approximately 20% domestic and international travel required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and may be asked whether they require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own and champion an assigned portfolio within the DNA NGS product line, while supporting adjacent portfolios as needed.
• Translate customer and market needs into prioritized product requirements and partner with R&D on technical feasibility and product tradeoffs.
• Work with sales and key customers to develop innovative solutions, expand application areas, and increase product adoption.
• Develop product strategy, positioning, pricing, commercialization plans, roadmaps, demand planning, and lifecycle investments.
• Coordinate R&D, Support, Sales, Quality, and Operations through new product development and commercial launch.
• Monitor revenue, adoption, customer feedback, competition, quality, and product performance while leading portfolio communication and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• MSc degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or an associated scientific field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, including R&D.
• Experience being part of a new product development core team or project required.
• Technical expertise in NGS workflows, including library preparation, sequencing, data interpretation, and core molecular biology techniques.
• Track record of defining and launching products.
• Experience documenting customer and product requirements and applying risk-informed decision-making within a quality management system.
• Ability to influence and gain consensus across cross-functional teams and work effectively with customers, development, and sales teams.
• Ability to present technical information to groups with varied scientific backgrounds, think creatively and critically, solve problems proactively, multitask, work independently, and perform consistently under pressure and deadlines.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, task-management, self-motivation, and initiative skills.

Nice to have

• Product Management experience preferred.
• Customer-facing experience considered a plus.
