Senior Product Manager, Software Solutions

Location: Field - United States; remote or hybrid model. Occasional travel up to 20% and work outside normal business hours may be required.

Annual base salary: $116,600–$177,800, plus potential discretionary or non-discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define and execute software product-line strategy, prioritize features, and manage the roadmap across concept, launch, adoption, iteration, deprecation, and end-of-life.
• Research pharma, biotech, and academic customer needs through field teams and voice-of-customer activities, then translate insights into product requirements and recommendations.
• Partner with engineering, instrument and assay product management, quality, regulatory, operations, sales, scientific support, and customer experience teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
• Build business cases for new offerings and portfolio expansion while driving innovation and operational excellence.
• Support releases with marketing collateral, training materials, customer adoption programs, and high-touch deployment support.
• Develop customer IT and security review materials and ensure software addresses data integrity, audit trails, electronic records, and other applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least seven years of product management experience.
• Deep understanding of software systems for analytical instrumentation, including hardware-software integration, embedded systems, and UI/UX design principles.
• Experience developing cloud-based platforms for life sciences data analysis.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into clear product requirements.
• Strong organizational, planning, time-management, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and work independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Creative, collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated approach to assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed.
