Sr. Project Manager

Location: Hybrid, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States

Annual salary: $140,000–$165,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead technical product development programs through new product development, product line extensions, and sustaining engineering releases.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined objectives, schedules, and budgets.
• Balance electrical, mechanical, and software development issues at the system level.
• Develop project work plans, schedules, requirements traceability, and project documentation.
• Lead design reviews, risk management, problem solving, and mitigation activities.
• Manage technical partners and vendors and facilitate project meetings and management presentations.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of technical product development project management experience.
• Experience developing medical device capital equipment and working within a phase-gate development process.
• 10+ years of engineering experience developing products, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of medical device design controls, risk management, electrical safety, and global standards and regulations.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering practices at the system level.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Advanced engineering degree.
