Senior Revenue Cycle Transformation Manager (Oncology)

Location: San Diego, CA, United States

Annual base salary: $125,100–$208,500; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Optimize order intake, demand management, accessioning, client onboarding, inquiry management, and service delivery workflows.
• Improve clinical review, patient engagement, benefits investigation, financial counseling, coverage education, and patient support processes.
• Strengthen billables integrity, billing hand-off, data quality, workflow controls, revenue integrity, and first-pass billable readiness.
• Partner with Reimbursement, Billing, Market Access, Contracting, laboratory, medical, operational, commercial, and technology stakeholders to reduce coverage and reimbursement barriers.
• Establish dashboards and KPI frameworks, using analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-enabled insights to identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement and technology transformation initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, automation, workflow redesign, and system integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in diagnostic laboratory operations, specialty laboratory services, revenue lifecycle management, client services, order management, patient services, business operations, or process transformation.
• 3+ years of experience leading large-scale operational improvement, workflow redesign, automation, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success improving operational performance through analytics, process optimization, and technology enablement.
• Experience supporting revenue lifecycle functions from order intake through billing hand-off.
• Experience leading enterprise process architecture, workflow modernization, or operational excellence programs.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor with significant cross-functional influence and no direct people management responsibilities.
