.NET Developer Senior, Colombia

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Create and improve SOAP and REST APIs according to best practices and version standards.
• Write unit and integration tests, investigate defects through root-cause analysis, and fix code issues.
• Integrate systems and services using software design patterns and contribute to CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment.
• Review code, guide junior developers, and help the team adopt new technologies and development practices.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Deep knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design and database performance improvement.
• Hands-on experience building SOAP and REST APIs.
• Ability to read and write XML data.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, fast-paced teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people, collaborate with others, take ownership, adapt to changing or unclear requirements, and continuously seek improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of specification-driven development.
• Exposure to Agile development methods.
• Understanding of modern software development approaches.
