Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build scalable distributed systems, decoupled event-driven architectures, and high-concurrency applications.
• Develop reliable webhook integrations with signature verification, idempotency, retries, and fault-tolerant data flows.
• Build and optimize data access solutions using Entity Framework Core, Dapper, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Implement cloud-native Azure solutions, infrastructure-as-code support, deployment lifecycles, monitoring, structured logging, health checks, and recovery mechanisms.
• Design APIs with OpenAPI and code generation tools, write automated tests, support security scanning, and communicate technical decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core building backend services and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous communication, and consistency in distributed systems.
• Production experience building webhook integrations with signature verification, idempotency, retries, and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Event Hubs, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Managed Identity.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, container-first architectures, and deployment practices.
• Experience with Dynatrace, New Relic, or Datadog, as well as Serilog and health check endpoints.
• Knowledge of resilience libraries and patterns such as Polly.
• Experience writing automated tests with xUnit, mocking libraries such as Moq or NSubstitute, and FluentAssertions.
• Strong understanding of API design and API contracts, including OpenAPI and code generation tools such as TypeSpec or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs and keep user experience central to technical decisions.
• If holding an Engineering or related degree, a professional license must be presented where required by Colombian regulations.
