What you will do

• Support end-to-end generation of omics data through high-throughput automation.
• Execute automated DNA and RNA workflows, including PCR-based workflows using automated liquid-handling systems.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and program TECAN and Hamilton liquid-handling platforms.
• Perform Next-Generation Sequencing workflows, including Illumina-based sequencing.
• Support data generation, quality assessment, interpretation, method development, optimization, and transfer activities.
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation, collaborate with scientific and technical teams, and troubleshoot experimental and equipment-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Comfort working in a laboratory environment and hands-on experience with DNA and RNA.
• Experience performing PCR reactions using automation platforms such as TECAN or Hamilton.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and programming automated liquid-handling systems.
• Experience performing Next-Generation Sequencing, preferably using Illumina platforms.
• Strong wet chemistry laboratory skills, including pipetting, buffer preparation, filtration, dilution, and stoichiometry.
• Proficiency in technical writing and laboratory documentation, including laboratory notebooks, chemical inventory, and data management.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, technical problem-solving, and scientific data interpretation and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with plate readers, thermocyclers, high-throughput microscopy, or flow cytometry.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations.
• Previous experience working in an industry environment.
• Experience troubleshooting experimental and equipment-related technical issues.
• Experience with method development and method transfer.
