Recruiter (Clean Energy Finance)

Location: Remote in the United States and Canada; optional offices in Washington, DC, New York City, Denver, and San Francisco, with a coworking pod in Seattle.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000+ annually, depending on leveling; independent of equity value and company-wide bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers across commercial teams to define role requirements and hiring strategies.
• Own the end-to-end recruiting process for commercial roles across all levels, from sourcing through close.
• Source and engage talent across finance, fintech, banking, advisory, and clean energy markets, with a focus on revenue-generating and client-facing roles.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and deliver a high-touch, inclusive, transparent, and respectful candidate experience.
• Analyze and report recruiting metrics to improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Collaborate with People and HR to refine recruiting processes, interview structures, and inclusive hiring practices.

Requirements

• Ideally 5–7+ years of industry-specific recruiting expertise, prioritizing clean energy, renewables, or manufacturing, especially coverage, advisory, and finance.
• Relevant experience recruiting for banking, private equity, or service providers in clean energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to hire top finance talent into a high-growth startup, or a strong perspective on how to do so.
• Strong full-cycle recruiting experience, managing the process from sourcing to close.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and executives and advise them on talent acquisition.
• Understanding of the talent market and ability to share informed hiring perspectives.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, transparent, and respectful candidate experience.
• Proficiency with ATS systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting practices that leverage AI and data.
• Readiness to work in a fast-paced startup environment, build from the ground up, iterate continuously, and help define how the commercial organization scales.
