Senior Materials Program Manager (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Hybrid, San Francisco, California; international and domestic travel required up to 2–3 times per quarter. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not considered.

Salary: $143,650–$169,000 annually for Region 1 US locations; compensation varies by location and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage the Clear-to-Build process with suppliers and contract manufacturers, maintaining visibility into supply availability, inventory levels, and risks.
• Develop material, allocation, and supply chain strategies to optimize availability, minimize excess and obsolete inventory, and manage constrained materials across factories and programs.
• Analyze supply chain data, metrics, liability scenarios, and mitigation options to inform operational decisions.
• Lead weekly materials reviews and present material status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Partner with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and global cross-functional teams to resolve materials issues and drive supply chain readiness for NPI programs and product EOL.
• Support supply chain systems for end-to-end component tracking and inventory planning, while influencing program decisions and improving operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, or a related field.
• Experience in consumer electronics and/or hardware companies.
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers.
• Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to establish and improve processes in a dynamic environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets.
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with MRP and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
