Senior BI & Visualisation Developer

What you will do

• Shape analytics strategy and roadmaps with BI Managers, independently lead workstreams, and translate ambiguous business problems into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and implement end-to-end BI solutions with Data Engineering, covering data ingestion, modeling, visualization, and enterprise design standards.
• Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using DOMO, Tableau, Looker, or comparable BI platforms.
• Drive reusable analytics components, templates, frameworks, KPI standards, data lineage, documentation, and governance practices.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, lead root-cause analysis, and own remediation plans.
• Present insights, lead demos and training, develop self-service programs, and convert stakeholder feedback into prioritized enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a closely related role, with increasing scope and complexity.
• Demonstrated delivery of enterprise-scale analytics solutions that influenced strategic business decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more major BI platforms, such as DOMO, Tableau, or Looker.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Expertise in star and snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and performance tuning at scale.
• Experience using Python or R for data wrangling and exploratory analysis.
• Ability to decompose complex business problems into analytics requirements, define and document KPIs, and present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication; cross-functional collaboration; comfort with ambiguity and iterative stakeholder work; self-direction, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.

• Experience working with a Centre of Excellence (COE).
