Senior BI & Visualisation Developer

What you will do

• Shape analytics vision, strategy, and roadmaps with BI Managers while independently leading workstreams and prioritization.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured, scalable analytics solutions and rapidly prototype solutions for stakeholder feedback.
• Partner with Data Engineering to design and implement end-to-end BI solutions covering data ingestion, modeling, and visualization.
• Build performant dashboards and reports using modern BI platforms, and own domain data models for reliable reporting.
• Drive enterprise-wide standardization through reusable components, templates, frameworks, KPI definitions, and reporting standards.
• Lead data quality remediation, governance, documentation, stakeholder enablement, demos, training, and self-service BI adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a closely related role, with demonstrated growth in scope and complexity.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions that influenced strategic business decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more major BI platforms, such as DOMO, Tableau, or Looker.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Expertise in star and snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and performance tuning at scale.
• Experience with Python or R for data wrangling and exploratory analysis.
• Ability to decompose complex business problems into analytics requirements, define and document KPIs, and present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication, cross-functional collaboration, ability to navigate ambiguity, iterative stakeholder engagement, self-starting behavior, continuous improvement mindset, and attention to detail.
