Director of Finance (Medtech)

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Some travel may be required.

Salary: $130,000–$185,000 annual salary.

ZOLL Itamar develops and manufactures WatchPAT home sleep apnea testing technology, with headquarters, research and development, and manufacturing in Israel and US headquarters in Atlanta.

What you will do

• Act as a business advisor to the US General Manager and Itamar US functional leaders.
• Lead the US Finance team and directly supervise employees in the US Accounting department, including hiring, training, performance management, work planning, and problem resolution.
• Prepare monthly financial and forecast reports, annual budgets, actual-versus-budget reports, and supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain accounting controls, procedures, and policies while monitoring financial information and identifying business opportunities and gaps.
• Coordinate tax authority communications, sales tax reporting, Sunshine Act reporting, and other statutory reports.
• Oversee collections from US customers, vendor payments, employee expense reports, and finance sign-off for US agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least 5 years of management-related experience.
• Experience with federal and state income tax matters.
• Ability to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, controls, and compliance activities.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
