Data & AI Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid — onsite and remote in Houston, Texas, United States.

What you will do

• Develop, consult on, and assure solution architectures that conform to Shell standards and reference architectures.
• Support a six-week GoA JV Audit Data & AI feasibility engagement by validating feasibility, mapping the audit process end to end, and confirming data and integration readiness.
• Build and demonstrate a working POC to validate that AI-enabled capabilities can operate with available data before major infrastructure investment.
• Translate Shell standards into practical project designs and provide technical recommendations.
• Identify new technology opportunities and support reuse of architecture assets across cloud, integration, mobile, open-source, and big-data environments.
• Engage senior business stakeholders and communicate architecture decisions clearly.

Requirements

• Five years of experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive cross-team communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to the audience.
• Ability to connect business value to technical architecture.
• Skills in solution evaluation, integration architecture, and AI-enabled POC architecture.
