Senior Manager, Data Architecture & Solutions – Products & Platforms (AI)

What you will do

• Own the btOS reference architecture, canonical client data model, integration patterns, technology inventory, and future-state platform map.
• Design data flows from ERP, general ledger, property and fund accounting, payroll/HRIS, CRM, and ticketing systems into Snowflake, KNIME, and Microsoft Power platforms and onward to analytics, automation, and AI products.
• Define data governance, quality, lineage, access, security, human-review, control, and escalation standards.
• Translate business-line and client requirements into architectures, workflows, reusable connectors, pipelines, reconciliation controls, reporting models, and working solutions.
• Direct engineers, contractors, and partner resources through design, development, testing, release, adoption, and sustained delivery.
• Lead platform intake, sourcing evaluations, client pursuits, solution demonstrations, adoption measurement, and value realization across Managed Services.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in consulting, professional services, managed services, financial services, or technology, including at least 4 years designing and delivering data or analytics solutions.
• Hands-on data-platform architecture experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake; ETL/ELT and workflow tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, or equivalent; SQL; and Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems, including ERP and general ledger, property or fund accounting, payroll/HRIS, CRM, or ticketing platforms, into a shared data layer.
• Track record taking solutions from concept through development, deployment, and sustained adoption, including audit-ready controls, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
• Experience directing engineers, contractors, or partner resources without direct line authority.
• Strong business acumen, including connecting architecture decisions to business outcomes, cost, and measurable value.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including comfort with pursuits, workshops, and executive reviews.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with changing priorities and incomplete information.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in data science, analytics, computer science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, RAG, APIs, AI agents, agentic workflows, and governed data layers.
• Experience with intelligent document processing, automation, or workflow platforms in finance, accounting, HR, or payroll.
• Experience with finance and accounting, family office, real estate, private equity, or fund administration processes and related systems.
• Managed services, shared services, business process operations, or recurring-delivery experience.
• Enterprise technology vendor and alliance relationships, including partner, investment, or acquisition evaluation.
• Corporate performance management, financial planning, Solver, or similar tools and BI platforms.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and security frameworks in professional-services or regulated environments.
