DevOps Engineer (Trading & Supply)

Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, United States; onsite and remote work

What you will do

• Manage critical workflows and continuously improve system stability and resilience.
• Troubleshoot issues from initial report through resolution or bug creation.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for trading-system initiatives.
• Support scalable algorithmic-trading technology.
• Participate in on-call support and drive production-reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of front-office application support and vendor-management experience.
• 6+ years of experience in commodity trading, capital markets, or investment banking.
• 3+ years of FIX engineering experience.
• Experience with futures exchanges, derivatives trade lifecycles, OMS and trading platforms, and market-data providers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under demanding trading-room deadlines.

Nice to have

• Scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with messaging and network protocols, including TCP and multicast.
• Familiarity with RTDS and kdb/shakti.
