Systems/ Software Engineer (Jenkins/DevOps)

Location: San Juan, 00918, United States; hybrid work with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, deployments, and release automation.
• Create and maintain Jenkinsfile and Pipeline-as-Code implementations using Declarative or Scripted Pipelines.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, deployment problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor pipelines and improve their reliability, scalability, and security.
• Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Groovy for Jenkins Pipeline scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong focus on automation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
