Systems Operations Analyst (AI)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in-office. Afternoon shift from 12PM–9PM MDT, with potential future shifts to hybrid day/afternoon work and eventually a full-time day shift.

Base salary: $66,000–$112,000 per year, plus annual bonus/commission and equity.

What you will do

• Monitor systems in real time for software and hardware errors, failures, and capacity issues; troubleshoot, diagnose, and escalate issues to senior associates.
• Troubleshoot order-entry and market-data connectivity issues with clients, exchanges, market centers, and network providers.
• Investigate alerts and technical problems, collaborate across teams, and respond to ad hoc technical requests.
• Support day-to-day application operations, application updates, operational documentation, and procedures.
• Contribute to automation, development, AI, and DevOps initiatives, including new tools and cloud-based solutions.
• Deploy applications and infrastructure in AWS and on-premise environments and participate in a minimal on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in a relevant technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or current enrollment with expected graduation in 2027.
• Strong knowledge and daily interaction with AI.
• Strong knowledge of software design, concepts, and testing.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems and interest in developing systems administration skills.
• Strong experience with at least one programming or scripting language: Python, Go, C, Rust, Java, or Bash; Python is especially relevant.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and initiative.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work across teams and time zones.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, academic, or project experience in systems operations, DevOps, or application support.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab or GitHub.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
