Lead, Program Management (Defense Tech)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Onsite role with international travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Lead program execution and proposal efforts for the Common Data Links – International business area.
• Manage program cost, schedule, resources, technical performance, budgets, forecasts, and financial execution.
• Direct programs from inception through completion, including development, implementation, and operations.
• Lead program reviews, capture management, risk identification and mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, international customers, internal teams, and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and at least 7 years of related experience; or at least 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience managing programs using EVMS principles.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of program management, with the ability to lead program execution and capture management.
• Strong leadership, team-building, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of communication and data link products.
• Experience leading cross-functional, product-based programs for international customers.
• Experience managing multiple program life-cycle phases, including Bid & Proposal, Development, Production, and Sustainment.
• Experience managing programs using EVMS principles.
• Ability to lead and build relationships with geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages.
