Mortgage Loan Officer - Orlando FL (Mortgage Lending)

Location: Orlando, FL, United States; office-based. Applicants must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Provide customer service from loan approval through closing and work with loan origination sources to secure and verify underwriting information.
• Maintain client relationships and advise customers on completing loan applications.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• Active NMLS license.

Nice to have

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio mortgage programs.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• PC and internet skills.
