BI Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in London, UK, with in-person collaboration expected; fully remote working is not available. Office location may be London Holborn or the HQ in Leicestershire.

What you will do

• Support metrics governance by agreeing consistent definitions and ownership of key measures with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data models, dashboards, and business reporting.
• Scope, develop, test, and document SQL and dbt work, using AI-assisted development with careful validation.
• Keep analytics tools, metric definitions, and supporting documentation accurate and reliable.
• Coach non-data specialists and help teams use self-serve analytics confidently.
• Turn open-ended business questions into analysis, recommendations, and clear next steps while partnering with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and maintaining data models in a modern analytics stack such as dbt.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including the ability to scope, build, test, and deliver independent work.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in a BI tool such as Lightdash, Looker, or Tableau.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including senior stakeholders, and build agreement.
• Experience turning open-ended business problems into actionable analysis and recommendations.
• Experience coaching colleagues who are not data specialists and using AI tools with sound judgement.
