Senior Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Brazil; 100% remote work. Current legal authorization to work in Brazil is required; visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Design and implement backend solutions for core platform services using Python and Terraform.
• Build and extend GenAI and agentic solutions on AWS Bedrock, including RAG, tool-calling agents, and evaluation loops.
• Contribute to React/Vite frontend interfaces for internal tools and platforms.
• Optimize and maintain cloud-native applications for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and internal stakeholders to develop tools that improve process efficiency and automate repetitive work.
• Enhance services in alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.

Requirements

• Experience developing Generative AI solutions, including building at least one simple AI-powered feature or application end-to-end.
• Comfort with the AI software development lifecycle, beyond theoretical exposure.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience deploying and managing services in a cloud-native environment.
• Experience with frontend development using React and Vite for building user interfaces.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI/ML model integration and experience with AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Rust.
• Understanding of business processes related to process optimization and SG&A efficiency.
