Software Systems Engineer (.NET)

Location: Remote; support for a U.S. Department of Defense program requiring Secret clearance.

What you will do

• Design, develop, modernize, integrate, test, debug, deploy, and sustain complex enterprise applications supporting DoD mission requirements.
• Modernize legacy applications to current .NET architectures and cloud-based environments.
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components using .NET Framework, C#, React, ADO.NET, dependency injection, and REST APIs.
• Support Git-based source control, Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security assessments, and deployments.
• Perform unit, integration, application security, and user acceptance testing; troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze architectures, optimize performance, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with developers, system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with .NET Framework, C#, REST APIs, React, Git, ADO.NET, and dependency injection.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Experience supporting software development lifecycle activities, application modernization, and technical documentation.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• At least one Microsoft Azure certification: AZ-204, AZ-305, or AZ-400.
• DoD 8140 baseline certification.
• Favorable Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation required at proposal submission and Secret clearance.
