Hirify AI/Оригинал
TL;DR
Staff Technical Program Manager (AI): Leading complex, ambiguous cross-functional technical programs across product, engineering, data, operations, and business teams with an accent on program definition, execution strategy, technical judgment, and organizational alignment. Focus on driving decisions, managing dependencies and launch readiness, connecting KPIs to engineering OKRs, and applying AI tools to improve program execution.
Location: Hybrid, with a minimum expectation of working from the Downtown Seattle office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays; candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.
Salary: $182,290–$227,863 annual salary in the greater Seattle area.
Company
Rover connects pet parents with trusted pet care across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia, building safe and personalized experiences and investing in AI as a business accelerator.
What you will do
Identify, build the case for, and stand up complex cross-organizational programs that no single team owns.
Turn ambiguous problems into executable programs with agreed problem statements, scope boundaries, decision rights, owners, and success measures.
Own execution strategy across concurrent programs, including prioritization, sequencing, dependency management, decision-making, and organizational alignment.
Partner with engineering on architecture implications, technical trade-offs, data integrity, rollout and cutover planning, and sequencing risks.
Define program KPIs, manage department-level risks, maintain charters, plans, dependency maps, risk registers, and decision logs, and communicate program health to engineering and leadership.
Drive launch readiness, improve TPM practices, mentor TPMs, support hiring, and develop AI-enabled workflows, frameworks, and automation for program execution.
Requirements
11+ years of experience driving complex, cross-functional technical programs.
Experience owning several high-complexity, ambiguous programs concurrently, end to end, across multiple domains, including programs identified and stood up independently.
Ability to work through incomplete or conflicting information and break shapeless problems into actionable parts.
Strong agency in driving decisions, aligning stakeholders across organizational lines through senior leadership, and shaping department priorities, strategy, and OKRs.
Sound judgment under uncertainty, including deciding when to force a decision, wait, escalate, absorb risk, or adjust scope, with the ability to explain those decisions.
Technical acumen to partner with engineering on dependency chains, technical trade-offs, technical approaches, sequencing risks, architectural patterns, and one-way-door decisions.
Strong program management skills, including planning, status processes, decision-making cadence, metrics, risk identification, progress reporting, and post-launch measurement.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and coordinate across globally distributed teams.
Experience mentoring TPMs or peers, interviewing and hiring, and building processes adopted by others.
Experience using AI tools to automate status reporting or risk tracking, build custom workflows, or create frameworks that help teams move faster.
Nice to have
Depth in more than one technical domain, such as platform and infrastructure alongside consumer product, payments, or data.
Experience at a marketplace, consumer technology, or SaaS company.
Culture & Benefits
Hybrid work with regular in-person and virtual team activities across Seattle and Barcelona.
Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible PTO, commuter benefits, and a 401k match.
Long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout.
Pet-friendly workplace with dog-friendly office access, unlimited puppy time, and pet benefits including $1,000 toward adopting a first dog or cat.
Stocked fridges, beverages, treats, and free catered lunches monthly.
