Accounting Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $103,200–$164,800 annual base pay in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC. The range may differ in other locations; the role is also eligible for equity awards.

What you will do

• Co-lead close optimization and financial transformation initiatives by identifying manual processes, building roadmaps, and implementing scalable improvements.
• Own close communications, facilitation, tracking, templates, artifacts, and frameworks across the accounting organization.
• Lead recurring close management and consolidation programs and oversee intercompany activities with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance.
• Represent Accounting in strategic projects including M&A integrations, new entity formation, and reorganizations.
• Develop operational policies, internal control frameworks, financial analyses, and metrics supporting SOX compliance and close optimization.
• Own expense accruals and related journal entries and reconciliations; review intercompany activity, fluctuation analyses, and month-end close documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a large public company environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is preferred.
• Strong US GAAP foundation and experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations with a critical, analytical approach.
• Ability to lead or support cross-functional projects and programs while balancing execution with strategic priorities.
• Process improvement and automation orientation with a track record of developing scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, including presenting to leadership and driving alignment across Finance, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and Technology teams without direct authority.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with international subsidiaries and transfer-pricing processes.
• Experience in a large public company environment.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with Workday Financials or another large ERP and similar data tools.
