Base salary: €70,200–€105,400 EUR per year in Ireland, with potential eligibility for a bonus plan, commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.

Company

hirify.global is a Fortune 500 company and AI platform for managing people, money, and agents.

What you will do

  • Administer, operate, and troubleshoot cybersecurity data pipelines and the broader data platform, including Splunk during the transition from a SIEM-based platform to an Infrastructure-as-Code model.
  • Operate the EU Sovereign Region and ensure deployments and incident responses follow European data residency, isolation, access, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Define and monitor SLIs and SLOs for platform health, compute usage, storage capacity, uptime, data flow integrity, and stability.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automation scripts to reduce manual toil, streamline deployments, and enable auto-scaling.
  • Implement resource quotas and technical guardrails, troubleshoot complex pipeline and infrastructure bottlenecks, and lead incident resolution.
  • Participate in blameless post-mortems and fix systemic reliability issues in code while collaborating with data engineering and incident response teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments.
  • 4+ years of experience operating major cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • 2+ years of experience with compute, storage, networking, and Identity Access Management.
  • 2+ years of experience building, maintaining, or operating data pipelines, including ETL/ELT, streaming, or batch processing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical experience building and managing monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana, including tracking SLIs/SLOs and proactively troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining scripts using Python, Bash, or Go, and working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of platform, network, application, and cloud security fundamentals, tools, and concepts, with the ability to automate consistent security configurations.
  • Familiarity with data residency, isolation, and regulatory compliance requirements, particularly in a European or EU Sovereign context.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while handling operational responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with partner teams across global time zones.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience administering, searching, or troubleshooting Splunk.
  • Experience with data reliability engineering, including data quality monitoring, pipeline SLAs/SLOs, or data observability tooling.

Culture & Benefits

  • Integrity, empathy, shared enthusiasm, collaboration, and inclusive working practices.
  • Flexible work combining in-person time and remote work, with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or field depending on the role.
