Systems Development Engineer (Enterprise Collaboration Platforms)

What you will do

• Design, build, and automate enterprise collaboration platform services operating at global scale.
• Develop production-quality software and automation using Python, PowerShell, Java, C#, Go, or similar languages.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Build automation to simplify operations, reduce manual effort, and improve customer experience.
• Integrate collaboration services with cloud infrastructure, identity, and security platforms; partner with engineering teams across hirify.global.
• Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and operational support; troubleshoot complex production issues.

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Experience with systems engineering fundamentals: networking, storage, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and developing automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment focused on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD).
• Experience developing automation using PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience building or operating services on AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
• Experience with Agile development environments using Scrum.
