CRM Integration Architect (Salesforce)

Location: 100% remote within the Continental United States.

Salary: $100K–$150K annually.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end integration architecture for Salesforce ecosystems across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Industry Clouds.
• Select and apply request-reply, fire-and-forget, batch, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Design Salesforce-native integrations using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Connect, and Composite APIs with MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Define API strategy, contract management, versioning, data synchronization, identity, OAuth, error handling, retry, and dead-letter standards.
• Lead architecture and design reviews, approve technical designs, and produce context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs.
• Collaborate with security teams, vendors, product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Eight or more years of Salesforce experience, including significant experience with complex integrations.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major iPaaS: MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, enterprise application architecture, data synchronization with ERP and operational systems, identity, OAuth, and integration security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architect credential.
• Track record of leading large Salesforce integration programs.
• Ability and willingness to work as a full-time W2 employee; C2C, 1099, and third-party arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
• Experience with event-driven integration platforms such as Kafka, Solace, or Confluent.
• Familiarity with Industry Clouds and their data-integration nuances.
• Exposure to high-volume integration scenarios involving 10M+ records per day.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite ERP systems.
