Corporate & I-Banking Vice President (Latin America Private Credit & Structured Finance)

Salary: Annual base pay of $275,000 USD.

What you will do

• Originate, structure, execute, and distribute bespoke private credit and structured finance solutions across Latin America.
• Develop financing solutions for corporates, financial institutions, sovereign-related entities, and financial sponsors.
• Manage transactions from origination and initial structuring through credit analysis, documentation, negotiation, and distribution.
• Build and enhance relationships with senior executives at existing clients and targeted prospects to support revenue generation and risk-adjusted returns.
• Coordinate with senior coverage bankers, product teams, risk, legal, markets, and institutional investors across Latin America and the United States.
• Oversee junior staff when applicable and participate in joint client-calling efforts to identify opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• 9+ years of corporate and/or investment banking experience on the buy or sell side.
• Experience with business development and/or product management.
• Credit experience and demonstrated successful transaction execution.
• Ability to set, drive, and lead teams to achieve pipeline growth.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, public speaking, relationship management, negotiation, organizational, detail-orientation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated complex contract negotiation and creation skills, with the ability to influence complex initiatives and manage internal stakeholder logistics.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
• Ability to analyze and understand leading technologies and companies, translate data into information, and motivate and influence others.
• High proficiency in financial calculations and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Sales-oriented, energetic, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate strong initiative.
