Integration & Flight Operations Team Lead (Drones/UAV)

What you will do

• Lead the Integration Team and Drone Pilots Team, including professional and operational management.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign integration, assembly, maintenance, testing, demonstration, and field activities.
• Ensure system readiness for laboratory tests, ground tests, flight tests, demonstrations, and field activities.
• Lead hands-on integration, configuration, troubleshooting, fault isolation, root-cause analysis, and technical readiness activities.
• Plan and coordinate flight activities, including preparation, briefings, Go/No-Go decisions, debriefings, and safety incident investigations.
• Develop team capabilities, work procedures, checklists, documentation processes, management routines, and lessons-learned practices while collaborating with engineering, QA, testing, and production teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a Technical Team Leader, Integration Team Leader, Field Team Leader, or Drone Pilots Team Leader.
• Mandatory: Experience in drones, UAVs, robotics, or autonomous systems.
• Hands-on experience working with complex multidisciplinary systems.
• Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, lead people, and drive processes.
• Mandatory: Experience in assembly, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience or understanding of flight operations, test preparation, fieldwork, and safety.
• Ability to work with multiple organizational interfaces.
• Structured approach to documentation, procedures, lessons learned, and process improvement.
• Willingness and availability to work hands-on in the laboratory and field, including testing and flights as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArduPilot and Ground Control Stations.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or aviation environments.
• Technical or operational background from the Air Force or a relevant technological unit.
• Experience leading development tests, flight tests, system tests, or demonstrations.
• Experience developing procedures, checklists, failure reports, and work processes.
• Drone pilot license.
